Our Program
Maria Montessori’s objective was for children to learn naturally as individuals. At Happy Kids NY, we share this objective and make learning a joyful process by introducing children to a curriculum with an organized environment and stimulating events.
Indoor Environment
Our location is well-equipped and organized with activities covering Science, Math, History, Geography, Language, Practical Life, and Sensorial topics. The children are under the supervision of the Directors and their Trained Assistants.
Outdoor Environment
Our curriculum extends beyond development in the classroom. In the outdoors, we nurture their physical, sensorial, and perceptual development. These activities are crucial for academic and social success. These activities include exercise, gardening and watering activities in our private playground.
Music
An integral part of the Montessori method is music. Every day the children choose their own instrument to play music along with Miss Juana who plays la guitarra. Music introduces children to the arts and develops their mind.

Our program is based on a consistent schedule with seasonal and interest-based activities. Our program schedule is Monday to Friday 8:15 AM to 5:45 PM.
